Actor Alec Baldwin tweeted that as a “thug who has destroyed our country,” President Trump should be beaten up “Rodney King style,” if he refuses to concede.
Baldwin’s Sunday tweet seemed like a clear violation of Twitter’s hateful conduct policy that states the social platforms users “may not promote violence against or directly attack or threaten other people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, caste, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, religious affiliation, age, disability or serious disease.”
His tweet, which read like deranged poetry, said: “Who arrests Trump if he refuses to concede? Who drags him out? Pepper spray? Cuffs? A knee on his neck, cutting off his oxygen? Does he wheeze ‘I can’t breathe.’ Just whale away on him like a piñata? Rodney King style? The thug who has destroyed the country. What does he deserve?”

Pepper spray? Cuffs?
A knee on his neck, cutting off his oxygen?
Does he wheeze “I can’t breathe.”
Just whale away on him like a piñata?
Rodney King style?
The thug who has destroyed the country. What does he deserve?

The “30 Rock” actor has been a vocal opponent of Trump, and even mockingly played the Saturday Night Live version of the President for which he won an Emmy.
In a 2018 tweet, Trump mocked Baldwin’s depiction of him. “Alec Baldwin, whose dying mediocre career was saved by his terrible impersonation of me on SNL, now says playing me was agony. Alec, it was agony for those who were forced to watch. Bring back Darrell Hammond, funnier and a far greater talent!
In a series of rebuttals, Baldwin replied: “Agony though it may be, I’d like to hang in there for the impeachment hearings, the resignation speech, the farewell helicopter ride to Mara-A-Lago. You know. The Good Stuff. That we’ve all been waiting for.”
“Looking forward to the Trump Presidential Library,” he wrote, mentioning it would include, “A little black book w [sic] the phone numbers of porn stars.”
