Academy Award winning actor Jamie Foxx shocked fans with a voice impression of former President Donald Trump that was eerily accurate.
Foxx and rapper Snoop Dogg appeared on a recent episode of the “Rap Radar” podcast to promote their Netflix vampire hunter flick “Day Shift.”
Hosts Elliott Wilson and Brian ‘B.Dot’ Miller were blown away when Foxx broke out into an uncanny imitation of the 45th president.
“There’s a lot of great people on both sides,” Foxx as Trump began. “I know Harry-O, he’s a great person. He couldn’t vote for me at the time, now he can vote for me once he gets out.”
The “Any Given Sunday” star was referencing Death Row Records co-founder Michael “Harry-O” Harris, who was 30 years into a prison sentence for conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, when the 45th president commuted his sentence prior to leaving the oval office in January 2021.
Snoop Dogg, who was a vocal advocate for Harris’ release, praised the 45th president at the time. “That’s great work for the president and his team on the way out,” he remarked. “They did some great work while they was in there and they did some great work on their way out. Let them know that I love what they did.”
“I love Snoop D O double G,” Foxx continued in his accurate voice mimicry. “Great person. I love Death Row Records. Excuse me, fake news.”
The “Ray” star has made contentious remarks about Trump in the past. During his opening speech at the 2018 BET awards, he took a jab at the former president while introducing Marvel’s Black Panther.
“I am not here to host, I am here to celebrate. Black excellence televised. We have to address the panther in the room. Ladies and gentlemen, we have to address the panther in the room,” he remarked. “We do not need a president right now because we’ve got our king.”
