Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón did not seek felony charges against the man who attacked comedian Dave Chappelle on stage at the Hollywood Bowl on Tuesday night.

Gascón, who was financially rolled by woke billionaire George Soros during his 2020 election, declined to charge Isaiah Lee, 23, after he was arrested for tackling Chappelle and found in possession of a replica gun concealing a real knife.

“The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office has referred the case to the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office for misdemeanor filing consideration,” a spokesperson from the LA DA’s office said.

Gascón reportedly bounced the felony case because Lee did not use the weapon during the attack, and law enforcement authorities only discovered it upon searching his bag.

L.A. City Attorney Mike Feuer charged Lee with four misdemeanors on Wednesday, including battery, possession of a weapon with intent to assault, unauthorized access to the stage area during a performance, and commission of an act that delays the event or interferes with the performer.

Los Angeles County Deputy District Attorney Jonathan Hatami complained that the misdemeanor charges, rather than felonies, were “a slap on the wrist,” and Lee could be out of jail soon.

“That fails to provide justice to the victim, accountability for this person’s actions, and safety to the general public. These concepts, however, like public safety and justice, that most of us value, are concepts George Gascón can care less about,” he remarked.

Chappelle was not harmed in the attack and continued with his set after Lee was subdued by security and, oddly, actor Jamie Foxx. The comedian even joked about the incident at an after party for the “Netflix is a Joke” festival.

“I felt good. My friends broke his arm. I felt good. How bad does a n***** have to be that Jon Stewart would stomp him?” He was caught on tape remarking.“Killing that n***** would have been stupid.”
