Alec Baldwin Returns to SNL as Trump After Trump Called Impression ‘Agony’

Alec Baldwin returned to “Saturday Night Live” to portray President Trump, days after the commander-in-chief said the actor’s impression was “agony for those who were forced to watch.”

In Saturday’s cold open, Baldwin’s Trump delivered prepared remarks on recent events at the White House, focusing on the conversation surrounding gun control in the wake of the Florida high school massacre.

“We have to take a hard look at our mental health, which I have so much of. I have one of the best mentals,” Baldwin said as Trump, adding that he should take everyone’s guns away, “even whites.”

Baldwin’s Trump also joked about reports that he calls Attorney General Jeff Sessions “Mr. Magoo,” the elderly cartoon character who bumbles through dangerous situations because of poor eyesight, behind the scenes, with Kate Mckinnon reprising her role as Sessions.
