Chelsea Clinton Made Some Totally Unexpected Comments About Her Mother’s Loss

Chelsea Clinton called her mom’s loss in the 2016 election an “unexpected blessing” for her and her family.

“We spent lots of time with my children,” Hillary Clinton’s daughter explained during her appearance on “The View” Wednesday. Adding that with “a little chardonnay and a lot of Charlotte [her daughter], thankfully,” she helped her mom cope with the loss to Donald Trump.

“My son, Aidan, is 11 months old now and my daughter, Charlotte, is two and a half,” she added. “And the unexpected blessing has been all the time that we have been able to spend together as a family.” Clinton shared that a couple of weeks ago she planted a garden at her parent’s house and how great it was to see them working alongside her kid.

“Seeing my mother and my father dig in the dirt with my daughter… was just like such an unforeseen gift that my daughter was giving me to see my parents in that way,” Clinton explained.
