Things got heated Friday on “The View” after co-host Joy Behar told Meghan McCain that she was “offended by Republicans” because most of them support a “racist,” President Donald Trump. It happened during a panel discussion about allegations of domestic abuse against former White House aide Rob Porter and the pictures that bolstered the claims.
“We shouldn’t make levy of this. We’re talking about the abuse of a woman,” McCain reminded her co-hosts. “I mean, look at that photo. We should not be laughing or making fun.”
“But we are laughing and making fun,” McCain responded. “It is serious. It’s very serious, and as a Republican I am offended.”
“As a Democrat, I am offended by Republicans,” Behar exclaimed.
