Troubled comedian Kathy Griffin revealed in a New York Magazineinterview on Sunday that her friendship with CNN anchor Anderson Cooper is “over” after he condemned her controversial and gruesome photo shoot, which featured a depiction of President Donald Trump’s severed head.
Speaking with journalist Yashar Ali, Griffin said of her relationship with Cooper, “Our friendship is over.”
Griffin claimed that she was upset by Cooper’s excoriation of her photo shoot, where he took to Twitter to condemn the atrocity.
Cooper in May tweeted, “For the record, I am appalled by the photo shoot Kathy Griffin took part in. It is clearly disgusting and completely inappropriate.”
