Far-left filmmaker Michael Moore on Friday called the National Rifle Association a “terrorist organization” and said the media should “speak of the NRA in the same way they do of ISIS.”
His Facebook post also claimed that while there have been 79 “ISIS-inspired deaths” in America, there have been 1.2 million gun deaths in America since the Beatles’ John Lennon was fatally shot in December 1980.
Moore said the blame for the aforementioned gun deaths rests with “the NRA & the politicians they buy,” who’ve helped make it “easy for anyone to have as many guns as the [sic] want.”
The NRA on Friday didn’t immediately respond to TheBlaze’s request for comment on Moore’s Facebook post, which had been shared more than 2,000 times in its first three hours.
