Michael Moore said President Donald Trump’s going to “get us all killed” and hopes that someone in the Pentagon is looking out for “us.”
“This guy’s [Trump’s] going to get us all killed. There’s nobody in charge,” the 63-year-old filmmaker stated in a Thursday interview with Reuters.
The interview was supposed to be discussing Moore’s Broadway show “The Terms Of My Surrender,” which takes aim at the president, and has been panned by The New York Times as a disaster.
“This man (Trump) has the nuclear codes,” he added. “I’m hoping somebody in the Pentagon is protecting us. Like, whatever’s in that nuclear briefcase it’s just some girlfriend’s phone number or something. I’m just hoping that it’s not the real numbers because we’re in desperate shape here.”
