Professional cyclist Quinn Simmons was suspended from his professional team after tweeting out a seemingly innocent statement in support of President Trump on Thursday.
The tweet in question consisted of Simmons tweeting the response ‘Bye’ to a Dutch journalist who claimed that ‘if you follow me and support Trump, you can go.’
As Fox News reports:
Simmons, 19, reacted to a tweet from Dutch journalist Jose Been in which she said she hoped for her American friends that “this horrible presidency ends for you,” adding “if you follow me and support Trump, you can go.”
Simmons replied to Been, saying “Bye” with a dark-skinned hand emoji waving. Her tweet was later deleted.

A separate Twitter user wrote that Simmons was “Apparently a Trumper.” He wrote back: “That’s right” with an American flag emoji.

It’s truly despicable that Simmons, who is only 19, has now lost his positional on his professional cycling team over a series of completely innocent tweets defending the President.
All the more reason why it is imperative that President Trump wins in November, lest the same fate befalls more and more of his supporters who will become persecuted for their beliefs under a Biden/Harris Administration.

You’re correct. No one can terminate anyone due to their beliefs. This is our Constitutional Right. There are plenty of attorney’s who are now representing thousands of people who have been wrongfully terminated, excused & harassed into leaving their positions. Don’t let it happen. Go on line & locate these attorney’s. We have to stop our civil liberties being taken from us, in all aspects of our lives.
