Nicki Minaj has reportedly followed through on her promise to give Geoffrey Owens $25,000.

Owens went viral after photos of the “Cosby Show” actor working at Trader Joes went viral. He was in the news nonstop for several days. That’s when the star rapper came in with the promise of a boatload of cash.

There had been previous reports that Minaj hadn’t followed through on her promise, but it’s all good now, according to TMZ.

Owens, however, didn’t keep the money for long. He donated it to the Actor’s Fund in memory of Earle Hyman, according to the same TMZ report.

Minaj made the promise and followed through. It was a great gesture, and it was also great to see a star doing what he needed to do to make ends meet.
