Spiderman No Way Home arguably saved the movie theatre industry all on its own and the gang is back!
It made $121.5 Million on opening day and almost doubled projections. It boasts a Rotten Tomatoes audience score of 98%. Screen Rant argues that it is the best Spider-Man movie ever made and you might have trouble finding a fan who would disagree. Many audiences claim that it’s the best Marvel movie altogether. No Way Home is now the third highest grossing film in Hollywood history behind The Force Awakens and Avengers: Endgame.
According to ScreenRant, it’s likely the whole band is going to get back together for another round! It’s going to be hard to top this one but with the same team, they may have a shot.
Tom Holland has gone back and forth about his future in the role of Peter Parker. He is no longer on contract and said that right now there have only been conversations about the future. Spider-Man 4, however, will likely bring Holland take on the mantle once again. Sony’s Spider-Man producers made it clear that they expect to have Holland and Zendaya back for the next film according to Deadline.
Will we see another film like the one that shook the earth and single handedly keep movie theaters in business? Only time will tell, but I’m excited to see what comes next for the gang.
