Hooters eatery, known for their hot wings and, ahem, breasts, has seemingly discovered that their female staffers also have other assets to display, and have changed their uniform’s short-shorts to what waitresses…
The new uniforms have sparked fury among Hooters Girls, many of whom have taken to social media app TikTok to complain about how revealing the new black and orange hot pants are.
I get people like hot Hooter's Girls to serve them food and drinks, but this is ridiculous.

“The new black shorts, they do not have a bottom, they have a crotch string. So they sit like this… oh look, a wedgie!” Said Hooters waitress and medical student Kristen Songer.
“There is no longer anything covered by these shorts. And this is what the problem with the new shorts is, this is why all of the Hooters girls are upset. Because this is not what I agreed to wear a year ago when I was hired.”

Another TikTok famous Hooters Girl was shocked at how small the new shorts were and said the uniforms have prompted her to think about finding a new job.
“I got mine today and this is WILD,” she remarked, before adding, “I didn’t actually quit, don’t worry.”
“What’s that supposed to fit?” asked another as she held up a pair of her old shorts versus the new ones in a comparison video.
Prior to the uniform switch, the company historically cultivated a reputation for featuring their female-only wait staff’s busty displays of cleavage, to the extent of previously requiring that employees wear looser shorts as to not distract from their above-the-waist assets.
“You have to see what we call the smile under the shorts,’ she shared. ‘We call the shorts chicken wings so that when you turn around, there’s some extra space in your shorts and they’re not skintight,” one waitress said in a 2018 interview.

Three years later, the struggling chain has pivoted its staff’s looks to appeal to society’s post-Kim Kardashian era obsession with butts. Sales have steadily declined since 2008, and the company was forced to close down 7% of their restaurants between 2012 and 2016.
Maybe their butt baring uniforms will help bolster sales, if not, at least the Hooters Girls will keep going viral for shaking it on TikTok.
