PBS and LEGO are targeting young children with inclusionary new programming and toys.
“Let’s Learn,” a show produced by The New York City Department of Education for PBS, to help 3-8-year-old children with in-home learning, featured a drag queen known as Little Miss Hot Mess in a recent episode.
“I think we might have some drag queens in training on our hands!” Little Miss Hot Mess declared, before launching into a description of what drag queens are.
“And you may be wondering to yourself: ‘What on earth is a drag queen?'” she posited towards the children. Then explained that they are “everyday people who like to play pretend and dress up as often as we can.” She also mentioned that they are “leaders in our community, and if you ask me: we make pretty good role models.”
Little Miss Hot Mess read her own book, “The Hips On the Drag Queen Go Swish Swish Swish,” a parody of “The Wheels on the Bus” song. “I wrote this book because I wanted everyone to get to experience the magic of drag and to get a little practice shaking their hips or shimmying their shoulders to know how we can feel fabulous inside of our own bodies,” she remarked.
LEGO announced that they would be releasing a ‘LGBTQIA+’ kit called “Everyone Is Awesome” ahead of Gay Pride month. The kit features the colors of the gay pride flag, with the addition of pink, white, and pale blue to represent the transgender community, and black and brown as a nod to minority groups.
Though none of the eleven included figures have faces or discernable gender, set creator Matthew Ashton said the purple one wearing a wig was “a clear nod to all the fabulous drag queens out there.”

I’m glad that I don’t have young children. I would NEVER allow them to watch anything on PBS. It’s truly disgusting that PBS and other media have sunk to such low levels! I quit watching PBS years ago and in my area the PBS stations are hurting for money. I no longer buy leggo products haven’t bought any knowingly for quite a few years. Parents have to control the toys their children play with, and the TV and movies they watch. It’s part of teaching values and fairness. Once they leave your home as young adults they can make their own rules, until then teach them your values not let leftist idiots dictate what you teach. Your children will face enough problems in the future prepare them with good values and to appreciate hard work
This really is sick. People need to flood PBS with letters and phone calls protesting this sick programming. The same needs to happen with Lego toys.

Guess I’m done with PBS radio too. They have been on a money begging spree here. I used to support because I like the Oldies music and the news on the hour will working. Now they are OK during the day most of the time. At night and on weekends they play OPHRA I hate it. I guess it’s Italian which I don’t understand. I don’t mind a little, but getting where I rather listen to CD’s of oldies, but goodies. I am really disappointed that PBS would succumb to such wrong and disgusting behavior to teach children. Why do you want to mess up children’s minds? I quit watching PBS over five years ago, and I quit supporting local PBS stations at the same time. Others I noticed must have done the same since I’ve been told they now have commercials. I quit buying Legos when they quit supporting police and firefighters. Let the homosexuals buy legos. They make up less than 1 percent of the population. Parents have to quit supporting this agenda by.not allowing their children watch PBS, Disney and other channels that have gone to the dark side and no toys from companies that support the leftists agenda. Parents of young children need to put a “parental block” on the PBS channel if you want to be the influence on how and when they receive sex education. PBS is part of the radical left which adamantly wants to fill our young children’s minds with the butterflies and rainbows of unnatural and odd sexual activity before they have a chance to question their parents and learn the normal truth about conventional sexual activity and the wonders of reproduction.
Stopped watching and supporting PBS more than 20 years ago because they were far too left to suit me even then. I am so happy I no longer have kids or grandkids that play with Leggos. I would never buy them now.
