Comedian Pete Davidson ripped anti-Trump celebrity Chrissy Teigen during a segment on ‘Saturday Night Live’ over the weekend after the recent revelation that she encouraged teens to kill themselves in online messages.
As The New York Post reports:
The comic took aim at the model — who is embroiled in a cyberbullying scandal after cruel messages from her past re-emerged — during the show’s “Weekend Update” segment.
“If there’s one good thing about the pandemic, besides getting Chrissy Teigen out of our lives, it’s …” the 27-year-old began his joke on the show’s Season 46 finale.
When the audience reacted with some cheers but also boos and some apparent upset, Davidson shrugged and added, “I’m relieved,” before continuing his joke about wearing masks.
Davidson’s dig comes after 35-year-old Teigen’s recent fall from grace, after reality star Courtney Stodden publicly spoke about the star’s awful messages from the past.
It seems after years of coddling Teigen’s behavior has now become even too much for many liberal comedians.
