We’re tracking the conservative culture clash with woke Hollywood hypocrites to keep you up to date on who’s winning and who we hate.
Here’s what happened today:
Celebrities fawn over Biden
Liberal celebs lauded the President’s first congressional address in saccharine displays of support. “Proud. And ugly crying,” wrote Alyssa Milano. “Isn’t it amazing what a little dose of empathy can [sic] in the office of the Presidency?” posted Josh Gad. “REPLACE EVERY LEAD PIPE IN AMERICA so every child will have CLEAN WATER,” Debra Messing wrote. “Can you imagine voting against that?”
Former NBA legend Charles Barkley sparked viewer outrage when he cracked a joke about southern women. While doing analysis for TNT’s Laker/Mavericks game he snarked, “Georgia, the only school in the world they named their mascot after the women down there.” Co-host Ernie Johnson responded the remark was, “So totally uncalled for, not even gonna dignify that with a response.”
Singer Britney Spears is headed to court on June 23rd to finally speak for herself in the ongoing crusade to remove her father from her conservatorship. Last week her parents got into a court battle when her mother Lynne accused dad Jamie of racking up nearly $900K in legal fees for unnecessary work that she requested be returned to the singer’s estate. Jamie fired back that Lynne is just “stirring up unnecessary media attention.”
Vanna takes a hit
A “Wheel of Fortune” contestant became the first person to win a house on the game show Tuesday. The sixth-grade teacher walked away with $398K in winnings, which prompted an explosion of confetti that smacked co-host Vanna White in the face. Pat Sajack exclaimed, “you could have put your eye out!”
CBS’ “The Talk” fell to last place amongst daytime programs after Sharon Osborne was ousted for defending friend Piers Morgan’s right to his opinion about Meghan Markle’s bombshell accusations against the British Royal family during her interview with Oprah Winfrey.
The Longest Wait
Adam Sandler went viral when an IHOP hostess didn’t realize he was famous and told him there was a 30-minute wait for pancakes. The A-list actor headed out instead of sticking around for flapjacks and the hostess posted security footage of the encounter on TikTok. “Pleaseee come back,” she begged with her face covered in a clown makeup filter.
