Female Wrestler Tamyra Mensah-Stock gave an impassioned speech expressing her profound gratitude and love of the United States while competing at the Tokyo Olympics.

The clip quickly went viral, as The Daily Wire reports:

On Tuesday, Mensah-Stock beat Blessing Oborududu of Nigeria 4-1 in the women’s 68-kilogram freestyle wrestling final, making her just the second American woman to win gold in the event. Mensah-Stock is also the first black woman from the U.S. to win a wrestling gold medal at the Olympics.

After her victory, Mensah-Stock could barely control her happiness — and appreciation — in her post-match interview.

“I surprised myself! It’s by the grace of God I’m able even to move my feet,” Mensah-Stock said. “I just leave it in his hands. And I pray that all the practice, the hell that my freaking coaches put me through, pays off. And every single time it does. And I get better and better. And it’s so weird that there’s no cap to the limit I can do. And I’m excited to see what I have next.”

When asked by the reporter how it felt to represent her country, Mensah-Stock responded in a way that will warm every American’s heart.

The viral speech stands in stark contrast t the majority of Olympics coverage which has features athletes protesting the US national anthem on the grounds of racial justice.

So true, as a veteran, I have been to almost every other country in the world. These people that trash our country, our flag, and our national anthem don’t deserve to be called an American. No other country in the world has the freedoms and opportunities that we do as Americans!

Now here’s an athlete who actually deserves a lucrative endorsement arrangement. I doubt Nike’s in the cards (and they don’t deserve her, in any event), but maybe My Pillow or Chick-fil-A or any other company that loves this country and its founding principles. There’s a whole lot of folks out here who would respond very positively to such an endorsement.

Under Armor. They sponsored basketball professional Steph Curry when Nike disrespected Curry and his father, and Under Armour could sponsor Tamyra Mensah-Stock also. Common decency and love of country is an American ideal, and Steph and Tamyra have it!

Thank God and Ms mensah-stock for displaying pride and appreciation for her nation. She makes 5he others, spoiled brats all, who denigrate America in media, and to the core of international participants. She just displayed class, dignity, appreciation in marvelous contrast to the spoiled, ill- behaved, poorly informed and hateful slams of their county. Kudos

God bless this young lady, for standing up for the country that afforded her the chance to represent The USA!!! With so much turmoil now in AMERICA with the failing current COMMUNIST REGIME in power, this young lady PRAISED AMERICA!!! I stopped watching sports because of the OVERGROWN, OVERPAID ACTORS TALKING DOWN AMERICA AND AMERICANS!! Tamyra, I congratulate you on your GOLD MEDAL, AND YOUR SUPPORT OF AMERICA!!! SO MANY PEOPLE COULD LEARN FROM YOU!! YOU’RE GOING TO GO FAR!!!

Thank God there are still people in America that are proud of America and work hard to achieve their goals. May God continue to bless you Tamyra Mensah-Stock. You are a tremendous role model but more importantly you are a child of God.

Mensa Stock is a proud representative of our country. It is a pleasure to see her express her enthusiasm and love for our country to the world. She is a class act, unlike those withering and dithering poor souls who have no appreciation of our great country. While iwe are not perfect, it’s still the best the world has to offer! Glad to see the woman’s soccer team go home with nada, zip, zilch, zero. They do not deserve to represent America, a country that has given them so much for their athletic ability and miserable patriotic attitude!

It’s an honor and privilege to represent the United States in the Olympics, not an opportunity to protest and make a political statement which embarrasses yourself and the country in front of the world. Very well done Ms. Stock and congratulations on your victory now if only more athletes will follow your example.

She is so ebullient, so real, and true. She is no doubt the cutest Olympian with those teddy bear tufts. She made drops come from my eyes. I love her and I love this great American republic, land of dreams achieved.
