Someone get this man a cape, because UFC brawler Kevin Holland took down his second criminal in less than a year, when an armed gunman fired a shot at a sushi spot on Monday.

Houston police were alerted to Ra Sushi in Houston, Texas, when the restaurant’s silent alarm went off, and panicked patrons called 9-1-1 to report an in-progress shooting.

Most of the 40-50 diners reportedly ducked and covered when 24-year-old Jesus Edrai Cardiel Samaniego pulled out his gun at the bar and fired into the ceiling, but Holland and two other men charged at the suspect.

One man allegedly wrestled the gun away, while Holland and the other wrestled Samaniego to the ground. When police arrived on scene, the gunman had already been subdued.

“We got him down, apprehended him, got the gun away from him and the bag that he had,” one of the men reported. “You see it on the news, or you see it on TV or the movies and stuff, but you never see it actually in life, and it is crazy that nobody got hurt.”

Holland declined to be interviewed, but tweeted the next day that he was “okay,” and followed up with a post that said: “Wrong place, right time… Either way.”

This isn’t the first time the mixed martial artist has used his UFC skills to fight crime, in October of last year, he chased down a carjacker.

Holland stopped at a gas station in his hometown Saginaw, Texas, when he followed the thief in his car, then finished the pursuit on foot, tripping the man and holding him down until police arrived.

After his latest encounter with a lawbreaker, Holland wants to find out the name of the man who rushed the gunman with him, so he can gift him tickets to a UFC fight in appreciation.

What a nice man, and brave as hell. Thank you for diverting two things that could have become very serious. Good man. Good luck in your next fight. Will be pulling for you.
