Fighter Colby Covington spoke out for the President during his victory speech after his UFC Fight Night win on Saturday, saying Trump was going to give Biden a “beating” on election night.
“If you thought that was a beating, wait till November 3 when Donald Trump gets his hands-on Sleepy Joe. That’s gonna be a landslide.”
While wearing an American flag, Covington dedicated his fight to first responders and military personnel, then called out liberal athletes, specifically LeBron James.
“I want to dedicate this fight to all the first responders, all the military out there. This world would not be safe without you guys. You keep us safe and not these woke athletes,” he said. “I’m sick of these woke athletes and [these] spineless cowards like LeBron James.”
While giving a post-show interview to ESPN, Covington was shocked when Donald Trump himself called to congratulate him on his win.
“You are a great fighter, man, I’ll tell you. You make it so easy, I don’t know how … you do that. Congratulations. I wanted to watch that fight tonight. I wanted to watch it, you were great.”
The Southpaw replied that Trump “gave him the dragon energy” when he shook the welterweight’s hand at the President’s rally on Sunday. “It doesn’t matter if King Kong was in front of me, I was not going to lose.
The President called the fighter’s opponent, Tyron Woodley, who lost in a TKO, a “great fighter, who’s a champ.” He continued, “That was easy work, relatively easy work for you. I’m proud of you, man. I’m proud of you.”
The wrestler thanked Trump and replied, “I’m gonna bring you the new belt to the Oval Office soon after you win November 3rd by a landslide.”

Covington later tweeted: “Nothing makes me prouder than fighting for the people who fight for America.” Then proclaimed, “the silent majority is ready to make some noise November 3rd!”
