The US Olympic soccer team was once again humiliated at the Tokyo Olympics, this time falling to Canada and falling out of the running for the gold medal in the process.
As The Daily Wire reports:
The U.S. women’s soccer team took another upset on Monday morning, losing to Canada for the first time since 2001 and getting knocked from gold medal contention.
The women’s team, ranked number one in the world and expected to take home the gold, lost 1-0 in the semifinal contest.

The single goal was scored by Canada’s Jessie Fleming late in the second half, a penalty kick that sneaked by backup goalkeeper Adrianna Franch.
“Carli Lloyd — one of several legendary American players on the Olympic roster this year — crouched on the field, holding her head in her hands when the final whistle blew Monday,” The Washington Post detailed. Team USA now has no chance at gold, a feeling Lloyd no doubt was reflecting on.
Former President Trump has previously spoken out against the the US women’s soccer team, blaming their failure at the Olympics on the team’s wokeness.

To me only those that revere and honor the US Flag, the only true symbol of our country that so many of our heroes have sacrificed and died for, have the rare and distinct privilege to represent our Flag in the Olympics. Am I the only one who thinks Rapinoe needs to be replaced as the women’s soccer team captain. Yes I failed to capitalize the title. Why give respect where none is deserved? This cow is too busy practicing her “woke” politics and making statements instead of practicing Soccer. “WOKE” is not even applied properly. The entire “WOKE” culture is an embarrassment and total disgrace. Too bad IGNORANCE is not an Olympic event.
I wanted the US to win; several on the team are class acts like Llyod. Megan Rapino is a great player, but her wokeness probably distracted from the team some. Unfortunate. At these levels of competition, wokeness needs to be put to the side. The US pays for these people to represent the country on the field, not their opinions. Just look at the sports where wokeness has crept into the spotlight–the ratings stink. People want to enjoy the sport. We get the news otherwise 24-7. Don’t need a bunch of woke athletes preaching or denigrating the country.

I think this is wonderful! My only regret is that, after a badly played game against Holland, the USA women’s team managed to pull out a narrow win on a questionable penalty call. I wanted this collection of miserable, traitorous ingrates to get thoroughly blanked in the games -and I hope against hope that they’ll lose their last game and finish totally out of the medals. I hope Rapinoe loses every endorsement deal and becomes an utter pariah. I’m also thrilled that equally anti-American gymnast Simone Giles, after turning in some truly pathetic performances and dropping out of a couple events, has now completely withdrawn from the games. She’s just one more ugly, loud mouthed ingrate we don’t need. Oh, and finally, I’m glad t that transgendered female weightlifer, Laurel Hutton, has faild miserably and is completely out of contention, beaten by genuine women.
I haven’t watched a single event in this year’s Olympics and my only interest in the games is the hope that the USA goes home without a single gold medal (except maybe in the shooting sports. Even my own sport of fencing has lost my support because of their election to embarrass and harass one of their team members based on somewhat antique allegations of sexual misconduct (allegations only – nothing has been proven, merely asserted and denied, but his teammates already convicted him and did so publicly without even the courtesy of telling him what was going on. So I hope the only metal they take home is an epee in the eye,
This is the first time I’ve been happy an American team lost. They can take their wokeness anti America crap and not come back to America. They hate our country, but would never think about leaving it. Go Canada!!
