Actor, model, and outspoken Trump supporter Antonio Sabato Jr. is now claiming that being open about his pro-Trump views caused him to be blacklisted in Hollywood.
As Fox News reports:
“I had to sell everything,” Sabato, 48, told Variety — in an interview published on Tuesday — about leaving Tinseltown not too long after Trump won the presidential bid.
“I had to pay all my debts,” he continued. “I was blacklisted. All my representatives left me, from agents to managers to commercial agents. I literally had to move, find a new job to survive and take care of my kids.
Sabato added: “It’s been terrible. It’s mind-blowing. It’s a disgrace. It’s tough, because if you’re in that environment in Hollywood and you have something to say that they don’t like, they’re going to let you know.”…
“I know a lot of actors who are lying about who they’re going to vote for because they don’t want the crap,” he said. “They won’t want to be talked about and fired from movie sets. This is serious.”
In spite of the bias and discrimination Sabato has faced due to supporting the President, when asked if he would still be supporting Trump in 2020 he gave a simple and firm answer “of course.”
