Donald Trump Responds to ‘Hillary Lover’ Meryl Streep’s Comments

Donald Trump was not surprised that “Hillary lover” Meryl Streep used her acceptance speech at the Golden Globe Awards to criticize him.

While accepting the Cecil B. DeMille Sunday night, the actress railed against the president-elect and called on the press to hold him accountable during his presidency. In a brief interview with the New York Times afterwards, Trump said he was “not surprised” that he had come under attack from “liberal movie people.”

Trump — who said he did not watch the show or her speech — said Streep was “a Hillary lover.”

Then, in a series of tweets, he said Streep was “overrated.”
