Ivanka Corrects the Record: ‘There’s One First Lady’

Ivanka Trump said she has no plans to take over the traditional role of the first lady, as some have speculated.

During an interview with ABC that aired on “Good Morning America” Thursday, Ivanka Trump called that speculation an “inappropriate observation.”

“Well, I think it is an inappropriate observation,” she said. “There’s one first lady, and she’ll do remarkable things.”

Trump’s wife Melania Trump is planning to stay in New York City until her son Barron finishes the school year.
