Donald Trump’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame was completely destroyed by a vandal who took a sledgehammer to it Tuesday night, Los Angeles police confirm.
A vandalism investigation is now underway and officers are still on the scene, police said.

A video of the man destroying the GOP presidential nominee’s star was obtained by Deadline.
A request for comment from the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce was not immediately returned.
