We’re tracking the conservative culture clash with woke Hollywood hypocrites to keep you up to date on who’s winning and who we hate.

 Here’s what happened today:

Fighting Words

Texas Democrat Beto O’Rourke subtly shaded actor Matthew McConaughey during an interview while praising him as an actor.

The politician was teasing his potential Texas gubernatorial run in a podcast titled “Can Beto O’Rourke Turn Texas Blue?” and discussed a recent poll which showed McConaughey beating both Gov. Greg Abbott and O’Rourke by nine and fourteen points respectively.

The Texas democrat wasn’t surprised by the results, but clearly shaken enough to knock the actor’s politics. “He’s an incredibly – if you’re talking about McConaughey – he’s a really popular figure whose political views have not in any way been fixed.”

“I don’t know, for example, who he voted for in the most consequential election since 1864 in this country,” he said. “I don’t know how he feels about any of the issues that we’ve brought up.”

“I’m looking forward to listening to your [McConaughey] interview. So I think that might explain part of it,” he continued. “And he’s a good guy who’s done some good work in this state. And he’s a great actor, on top of all that. So no surprise there.”

Pronoun Problems

“Real Housewives of New York City” star Bethenny Frankel got trashed for talking pronouns on the latest episode of her podcast “Just B.”

The reality performer was accused of making “transphobic” comments when she discussed the prevalence of pronoun usage and gender identity at her 11-year-old daughter Bryn’s school.

“We have to go into the fact that I did a Zoom for my daughter’s school and [had] the pronouns conversation with each teacher, each parent, each child,” Frankel remarked. “And my daughter says in school, too, that everybody has to say their pronouns.”

She noted that her child wasn’t sure about her own pronouns. “[Bryn said], ‘I know what I am or what I think I am, but I have never said it out loud. It hasn’t come up for me.’ So she said she didn’t know.”

Frankel further enraged the woke internet by telling a story about a transgender girl that attended an female only summer camp, who she claimed made out with many of the girls who were in attendence.

“It’s an all-girls camp and a person with a penis, who identifies as being a girl, went to the camp and was in the bunk with the girls,” she said. “And the girls saw her — because it’s her, because it’s a male anatomy but identifying as a woman — so the other girls saw a penis. They’re 9, 10 years old, so the parents obviously weren’t that happy.”

Verdict

R&B singer R. Kelly was found guilty on all nine counts of racketering and sex trafficking at his New York federal trial on Monday.

Kelly was charged with one count of racketeering that included 14 acts of sexual exploitation of a child, bribery, and kidnapping. He was also slapped with eight violations of the Mann Act for illegally transporting victims across state lines for immoral purposes.

The “I Believe I Can Fly” singer was accused of abusing his celebrity to run a criminal enterprise that utilized his entourage of hangers on to prey on and exploit his minor victims.

Kelly was accused of isolating a plethora of girls and two boys in his recording studio, where he would film videos of them performing sexual acts with him while calling him “Daddy.” He also punished them for breaking his rules with forceful spankings and made victims sign nondisclosure agreements to keep quiet.

Jurors only deliberated for nine hours before finding him guilty on all counts, for which he faces ten years to life in prison when he is sentenced on May 4, 2022.

Praise

Journalist Glenn Greenwald thanked comedian Russell Brand for getting the word out about his report that Hillary Clinton’s lawyer Michael Sussman had been charged with a felony count of lying to the FBI for Russiagate.

“This, though, is what gives me hope,” Greenwald wrote on Twitter. ”[Brand] took my Substack reporting on the indictment of Hillary’s lawyer and what it shows about the lies of corporate outlets. He produced a short YouTube video report.”

The “Get Him To The Greek” actor recently released a Youtube video titled “So…Trump was RIGHT About Clinton & Russia Collusion!!” that has garnered 1.8 million views.

“Just that segment alone — after 3 days, with no corporate backing — is almost [four] times larger than Don Lemon’s audience. It’s twice as large as Chris Hayes or Joy Reid’s Comcast shows,” he continued. “And I’ll bet the number of people under 55 watching is more than 10 times what those shows get.”

Tip

Dog the Bounty Hunter is looking into a tip that may help locate 22-year-old Gabby Petitos’ accused killer, boyfriend Brian Laundrie.

Duane “Dog” Chapman announced that he joined the search for the fugitive on Saturday, and  received a tip two days later that Laundrie’s parents were seen with their son at a Florida campground 75 miles away from their home two times in early September.

“They were registered, went through the gate. They’re on camera. They were here,” Dog said Monday night. “We think at least if he’s not here right now, we are sure he was caught on camera as he went in the gate — that he was here for sure. Not over in the swamp.”

On Monday, Chris and Roberta Laundrie’s lawyer said they “do not know where Brian is.”

“They are concerned about Brian and hope the FBI can locate him,” the attorney wrote in a statement. “The speculation by the public and some in the press that the parents assisted Brian in leaving the family home or in avoiding arrest on a warrant that was issued after Brian had already been missing for several days is just wrong.”

But Dog doesn’t believe Laundrie’s parents have been out of the loop about his location. “Allegedly, what we’re hearing is two people left on the 8th,” he remarked. “Three people came in on the 6th, and two people left on the 8th. I think he’s been here for sure.”
