‘View’ Co-host Meghan McCain clashed with her colleague Joy Behar after the latter attempted to defend the regime of bloody communist dictator Fidel Castro. As Fox News reports:
“The View” co-hosts unanimously panned Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., on Tuesday but co-host Joy Behar ruffled some feathers in how she defended the 2020 candidate and his comments about Cuba’s dictatorship.
At one point, Behar seemed to try and tout Cuba’s literacy program, which Sanders similarly used as a way to defend former dictator Fidel Castro’s regime.
“I believe the literacy rate did jump quite a bit,” Behar said. McCain responded: “Ok, let’s not. Let’s not.”…
“There’s no way around that. This is as bad as you-know-who saying there were good people on both sides – it’s the same thing,” Goldberg said, referring to President Trump’s comments during the racially charged protests in Charlottesville, Va.
SANDERS DEFENDS CUBA COMMENTS: Just days since Sen. Bernie Sanders scored an emphatic win in Nevada, he’s getting backlash for an apparent defense of parts of Fidel Castro’s dictatorial reign in Cuba — the co-hosts weigh in. https://t.co/CoRrtyGxwE pic.twitter.com/6W7yNqaRBF

Behar continued to defend the brutal dictatorship even after many of her co-hosts voiced their disapproval.
