‘Captain America’ Star Pushes Anti-Electoral College Agenda

“Captain America” star Chris Evans joined the chorus from Hollywood demanding an end to the Electoral College after Hillary Clinton’s shocking loss to Donald Trump.

“The electoral college must GO,” Evans tweeted to his 4.5 million followers Monday.

On Sunday the actor reacted to the news that Trump’s chief strategist during the campaign, Steve Bannon, was selected for a top job in the Trump administration.

“We’re watching unabashed bigotry creep into the White House right before our eyes,” ​Evans tweeted. “This isn’t about left vs right. It’s about right vs wrong…”

Evans had come out as a supporter of Hillary Clinton during the general election. When it became clear Clinton had lost the election early Wednesday morning, the actor tweeted his that he was “devastated” about president-elect Trump.
