Salma Hayek Weighs In on Border Wall

Salma Hayek doesn’t think President Donald Trump will be able to complete his proposed border wall.

“I really don’t think it’s going to get built,” Hayek told the Associated Press. “I think that it’s positive thing that finally he is going to get the real information that he’s talking about because we are talking about billions and billions and billions of dollars. And how do you build a wall that has to go through rivers?”

“What do you do, do you stop the river from flowing,” she added. “There’s rivers that pass through, there’s mountains. I don’t think that they are going to be able to do it. But the thought of wanting to build a wall, that doesn’t necessarily fix the immigration problem.”

“It should be addressed,” she continued. “And we should spend the energy in addressing it in a realistic way that is humane and that is a little bit more sophisticated.
