“Dukes of Hazzard” star John Schneider said “wishes” Biden wouldn’t visit Louisiana in the wake of Hurricane Ida.

“We don’t need the government coming in and, by the way, I call this — we had hurricane, we are about to have a flood and we are about to have probably the worst natural disaster that can be because apparently Biden is going to come show his face in Louisiana and I wish he wouldn’t, I wish he wouldn’t,” Schneider remarked. “We have more problems on our hands. We don’t need him.”

Schieder’s hometown was destroyed by Ida while he was away helping organize relief efforts for the victims of the devastating floods in Tennessee. When he returned home, his studio and iconic General Lee car had been destroyed in the storm.

The “Smallville” actor didn’t let his family’s personal struggle interfere with his mission to help others. “We are going to drive back to Tennessee this afternoon so we can distribute the stuff tomorrow,” Schneider told Fox. “You can’t stop humanitarian act just because a tree falls on your house. You gotta do what you said you were going to do.”

He said community, not government, is what will get the ravaged areas of the nation back on stable ground.

“We need to throw away all this BS about division. We need to remain united. The biggest strength we have in this country is ourselves,” he concluded. “We need to do this and stay like this, throw all this other hogwash away because as you can see, we need each other desperately.”

Cancel Culture

Former “Tonight Show” host Jay Leno said “changing with the times” is pivotal to surviving as a comic in 2021.

“When I do a gig in Utah and they’ll go, ‘Look, we don’t want any drug jokes, we don’t want any sex jokes,’” Leno said in a Wednesday interview.

“I go, ‘OK, I’ll take those out’ and I do something else,” he noted. “With the #MeToo movement, all of a sudden the sexist jokes everybody used to do, you can’t do anymore. So you either change with the times or you die. You adapt to the circumstances.”

Earlier this year, he apologized with his own brush with scandal in 2020, when he made an anti-Asian joke on “America’s Got Talent” that offended Asian staffers on the show.

During a segment, he commented that a painting of head judge Simon Cowell surrounded by dogs looked like what one could find “on the menu at a Korean restaurant.”

“If I see somebody who’s really hurt by something I did, that’s not my job,” Leno admitted. “The idea is to get them to laugh.”

Domestic Taliban

Radical left filmmaker Michael Moore apologized for all the wars the Unites States has been involved in and called for bolstering democracy against “our own domestic Taliban” in a tweet on Monday.

WAR IS OVER. 4:33pm ET. ENOUGH!” Moore wrote. “No more wars. Peace. Apologies to all. Time to fix ourselves and strengthen our own Democracy and defend it against our own domestic Taliban. Take the war money and use it on schools, health care, guaranteed income, housing. Never again. Ever.”

Online critics reacted harshly. “As ever you continue to prove yourself a typical vicious champagne socialist pontificating from your mansion about how evil American Christians are,” one commenter said.

“You are lying trash, and irrelevant intellectually feeble lying trash at that. Go back to the streets of Flynt and try spouting off.”

“You mean the domestic Taliban that is Antifa and BLM? You know, the groups that have been rampaging, burning, and killing for six years,” said another. “Go eat another donut fat boy and leave America to the REAL Americans (Conservatives).”

Shamed

Pop star Pink criticized a 14-year-old YouTuber’s mom for letting her daughter flit around the internet in tiny bikinis that display her body while she records the videos for her social media channels.

“How many kids like Piper Rockelle are being exploited by their parents? And at what point do the rest of us say … ‘this isn’t okay for a 13 yr old to be posing in a bikini whilst her MOTHER takes the photo?!?!'” she tweeted on Monday.

The woman’s child came to her defense in an interview. “The first thing I want everyone to know is that my mom doesn’t make me do anything. Quite the opposite,” Rockelle explained. “I’m a kid who had a dream, and my mom is amazing enough to help me live it out.”

“I know there are kids who are being taken advantage of and that’s a real problem, but I’m not one of them.” she added.

“I don’t think Pink has ever seen one of my YouTube videos because if she did, she’d see it’s just my friends and me having fun and acting like ourselves,” the teen continued. “The content we make is the kind of stuff anyone can watch.”

RIP

“Real Housewives” star Nene Leakes’ husband Greg, 66, died of colon cancer after being diagnosed at stage three in 2018.

Last weekend she announced on social media that her husband was “transitioning to the other side.”

“Today the Leakes family is in deep pain with a broken heart,” a statement from her publicist said. “After a long battle with cancer, Gregg Leakes has passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by all of his children, very close loved ones and wife Nene Leakes.”
