Shepard Smith Slams Tucker Carlson For Not Defending Judge Napolitano In Inter-Fox News Brawl

Fox News Host Shepard Smith blasted his colleague Tucker Carlson for not defending Fox contributor Judge Andrew Napolitano after one of Tucker’s guests called him ‘a fool’ over his opnion on the Trump-Ukraine impeachment scandal. As The Washington Examiner reports:

Fox News host Shepard Smith criticized fellow network personality Tucker Carlson for not defending Fox News contributor Andrew Napolitano after a guest on his show called the judge “a fool.”

Former U.S. Attorney Joe diGenova appeared on Carlson’s opinion show Tuesday night after news broke that Democrats had begun an impeachment inquiry into President Trump. On the show, diGenova tore into Napolitano, calling him a “fool.”

Smith went after Carlson and diGenova, calling the incident “repugnant.”

“Last night, on this network during prime-time opinion programming, a partisan guest who supports President Trump was asked about Judge Napolitano’s legal assessment, and when he was asked, he said, unchallenged, ‘Judge Napolitano is a fool.’ Attacking our colleague who is here to offer legal assessments on our air, in our work home, is repugnant,” Smith said.

The vicious clash between the two Fox News hosts could be the start of a coming civil war at the network between pro and anti-Trump forces.
