America's most famous pimp, Dennis Hof, who is running for state assembly in Nevada has passed away at age 72.

According to The Daily Wire:

America's most famous pimp, Dennis Hof, owner of the notorious "Bunny Ranch" brothel in Nevada, has died just days after his 72nd birthday.

According to CNBC, the pimp, whose brothel was the subject of the HBO show "Cathouse," died just hours after a "combination 72nd birthday party/campaign rally attended by GOP tax fighter Grover Norquist; Sheriff Joe Arpaio, who was recently pardoned by President Donald Trump, and porn movie legend Ron Jeremy."

Hof reportedly died in his sleep at the Love Ranch Vegas (another one of his Nevada brothels) and was found by Ron Jeremy. He turned 72 on Sunday.

Inspired by the rise of Trump, Hof recently set aside his brothel exploits in pursuit of a life in politics. This past summer, he ousted an incumbent state assemblyman in the Republican primary for the District 36 seat.

Recently it was reported that Hof was being accused of sexual assault. Hof denied the allegations.
