Roseanne Barr is returning to TV for the first interview since her eponymous show was canceled amid controversy.

The Wrap reports:

Roseanne Barr announced Sunday that she will soon give her first TV interview since the racist tweet that caused ABC to cancel her show.

“To my wonderful fans who I treasure and love — who have carried me these past weeks when I was 2 weak 2 carry myself: I will be doing a TV interview this week,” she tweeted. “I’ll tell u about it tomorrow!”

In a subsequent tweet, she showed off a new blond hairdo.

The comedian has spoken only on Rabbi Shmuley Boteach’s podcast about the tweet in May in which she called former Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett a child of “Muslim Brotherhood and Planet of the Apes.” ABC subsequently canceled the “Roseanne” revival and ABC entertainment president Channing Dungey called the tweet “abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values.”
