Rosie O’Donnell volunteered Monday to play President Donald Trump’s advisor, Steve Bannon, on an upcoming “Saturday Night Live.”
The 54-year-old actress and comedian let it be known via Twitter that even though she might need a few days to prepare “if called,” she is ready to play Bannon on the next edition of “SNL.” Her tweet came as a response to a follower who asked if she would be interested in taking on the role following a report in Politico that alleged the president was unhappy about Melissa McCarthy playing press secretary Sean Spicer on Saturday night’s show.
