Flight Attendant actress Rosie Perez, who has been a vocal supporter of New York Governor Andrew Cuomo during his Emmy award winning daily coronavirus briefings, has changed her tune about the lawmaker in the wake of his sex scandals.
Cuomo said he “never knew at the time I was making anyone feel uncomfortable,” and “learned an important lesson,” during a Wednesday press conference.
“I now understand that I acted in a way that made people feel uncomfortable. It was unintentional and I truly and deeply apologize for it,” he stated. “I feel awful about it, and frankly I am embarrassed by it.”
Perez weighed in on his comments during a podcast interview. “I have to say, especially with the second allegation and with his recent comment of — you know, his apology, if you will — it was disheartening, it was very, very disheartening and disappointing,” Perez said.
She shared that her handlers had warned her not to give her opinion on the topic. “But after yesterday, you can’t stay silent — because then you are hypocritical,” she remarked.
Perez and Comedian Chris Rock appeared at Cuomo’s May 31st press conference to encourage New York residents to wear masks in public. “Wear a mask, please,” Perez urged. “The numbers in our communities are staggering. This is not a joke, this is not a hoax. This is real.”

The Democrat activist admitted, “And it’s hard. I know a lot of people on social media … say, ‘Oh, you praised him and how do you feel now? Aren’t you hypocritical?’”
Despite that, she still believes in the governor’s “Mask Up, America” campaign. “I’m not hypocritical; I do praise him for what he did initially during the pandemic in regards to asking New Yorkers and the nation to mask up. You know, I will still praise him for that.”
But Cuomo’s apology, not so much. “With this sexual scandal, it’s just — come on, dude, really?” Perez said. “I think that there should be an investigation, and it should be investigated very thoroughly.” Nothing that “his apology is an admission of guilt to an extent, you know?”
Though the governor has stated, “I’m not going to resign,” Perez thinks the chances he will remain in office are bleak. “I don’t know how Cuomo’s going to survive.”

I believe cuomo s award was mis spelled ,it should have been an “enemy”award z got so sick of hearing his big mouth popping on my tv screaning and crying fkr Trump to send him the worlds. This whole sex scandal is just a smoke screen to hide the really serious scandal. The deaths of 15,000 or more nursing-home residents, due to his orders making the homes accept patients with known covid 19 infections, is not only a major scandal, it is most likely criminally indictable.
I don’t know exactly what charge should be placed, but I would suggest accesssory before the fact to second degree murder since he knew he was making it likely that very susceptable elderly patients would die. He completely ignored pleas from the homes telling him that they had no facilities to isolate the infected people.
Don’t let him resign. Indict him, try him, convict him, and send him to prision where he belongs.

I’m laying out here soaking up the sun. GOD I love Florida, I watch all these people rioting and screaming at each other all over the country and just have to shake my head. We had CPAC here last week in Orlando and it was BEAUTIFUL. Outside the Arena the sun was shining and people were playing music, dancing and laughing. The ONLY PEOPLE WEARING MASKS were a small group of kids ALL WEARING BLACK IN THE HOT FLORIDA SUN LOL and SCREAMING ANTI TRUMP GARBAGE STANDING ALL ALONE ON A CORNER. It was both pathetic and sad at the same time.
