We’re tracking the conservative culture clash with woke Hollywood hypocrites to keep you up to date on who’s winning and who we hate.

Here’s what happened today:

CMAs

Country star Luke Bryan jabbed at Aaron Rodgers while hosting the Country Music Awards on Wednesday, and fellow singer Carrie Underwood went viral for giving him major “side-eye.”

“We’re following all the health protocols to keep everyone safe and it’s so great to be here with all my fellow artists, tested and together,” Bryan said. “Or immunized? Who is it? Just playin’!”

When the camera panned to Underwood, her reaction was less than amused and Twitter picked up on her look. “[Bryan] was making a coy joke about the Aaron Rodgers’ issue…that’s why the camera panned to Carrie Underwood because her husband has been publicly supporting Rodgers,” one fan explained.

Underwood’s former pro hockey player husband Mike Fisher supported the quarterback after his “immunized” comment drew the media’s ire.

“I believe in the freedom to choose what we put in our bodies and the freedom of conscience. I agree with him in that the science clearly shows the vaccinated spread covid at basically the same rate as the unvaccinated,” Fisher said on Instagram.

Destroyed

Actor Christopher Walken painted over an original Banksy piece while filming his TV drama “The Outlaws,” in Bristol, England.

In a scene, his character covers up a wall of graffiti with fresh paint, and it ends up being artwork by the anonymous street artist, who is a Bristol native.

“We can confirm that the artwork at the end of The Outlaws was an original Banksy, and that Christopher Walken painted over that artwork during the filming of this scene, ultimately destroying it,” a spokesperson for the show stated.

The cover-up was no accident, according to a source. The show’s creative team reportedly got in touch with the artist’s representatives and Banksy painted a giant rat using his distinctive stenciling technique for the show to ruin on location.

Banksy’s only stipulation was that Walken, a personal hero, would be the one to paint over his art.

Outrage

General To Lam of the Communist Party of Vietnam faced fierce criticism from his people after he was seen on a TikTok video eating a gold-flecked steak at celebrity chef “Salt Bae’s” pricey London restaurant.

In the video, Nusret Gokce aka Salt Bae, feeds Lam a bite of what appears to be the restaurant’s 24-karat tomahawk steak, which retails at $1,150, and the general gives a thumbs up in approval.

The video garnered immediate backlash and was deleted quickly. “Everyone knows that Vietnamese officials are very corrupt,” said political dissident Pham Minh Vu. “So when they see such an incident, they use it as an opportunity to express their anger.”

The hashtag #SaltBae was subsequently blocked on Facebook’s platform, which raised questions if the social media giant had censored the story at the possible behest of the communist party. The hashtag has since been unblocked and Facebook is investigating why it happened in the first place.

Social Media Woes

Prince Harry claimed that he warned CEO Jack Dorsey that Twitter could be used to instigate an insurrection right before the Capitol riot.

“Jack and I were emailing each other prior to January 6 where I warned him that his platform was allowing a coup to be staged,” he said at a virtual panel on Tuesday. “That email was sent the day before, then it happened and I haven’t heard from him since.”

He also slammed Fox News founder Rupert Murdoch for reporting on conservative news.

“This isn’t just a social media problem. It’s a media problem,” The prince said. “I’ve grown up learning that news should be sacred ground. You don’t have to be Logan Roy or Rupert Murdoch to understand that clickbait is the descendant of targeted advertising.”

Logan Roy is a character in the HBO series “Succession” who is likely based on Murdoch himself.

Framed

“Rust” armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed has alleged that she’s being “framed” for the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, who was shot by the film’s star, Alec Baldwin.

“We are asking for a full and complete investigation of all of the facts, including the live rounds themselves, how they ended up in the ‘dummies’ box, and who put them in there,” her attorney Jason Bowles commented.

“We are convinced that this was sabotage and Hannah is being framed. We believe that the scene was tampered with as well before the police arrived,” he concluded.

Since the accident, Baldwin has called for the film industry to hire police officers to control weapons on set.

“Every film/TV set that uses guns, fake or otherwise, should have a police officer on set, hired by the production, to specifically monitor weapons safety,” he tweeted Monday.
