Disgraced Celebrity Chef Gets Some Good News

Celebrity chef Mario Batali who has been embroiled in a massive sexual misconduct controversy has gotten some good news.

According to Page Six:

Scandal-scarred celebrity chef Mario Batali will not be charged for alleged sex attacks on two women, sources told The Post.

Last March, a woman filed a police report accusing Batali of rape on Jan. 29, 2004, at one of his West Village restaurants, according to TMZ.

The NYPD was also investigating allegations that he sexually assaulted another woman in 2005 at the Spotted Pig, an eatery known for its celebrity investors, the gossip site said.

Law enforcement sources told The Post that the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office helped the NYPD with its probe of one of the cases and that they jointly determined there wasn’t enough evidence to bring charges.

Batali has admitted that he behaved poorly before stepping down from managing his restaurants.
