Brittany Aldean, the conservative wife of country crooner Jason Aldean, sparked woke outrage online when she compared her thanked her parents for not allowing her to transition during her “tomboy phase” as a child.
Aldean sparked the ire of social media users when she posted an Instagram Reel set to Beyonce’s “Upgrade You” last week, which showed her going from make-up free to fully done up through a quick edit.
“I’d really like to thank my parents for not changing my gender when I went through my tomboy phase,” she captioned the video. “I love this girly life.”
“Think there’s a little more to it than a tomboy stage,” someone replied.
“What happens if your little boy ends up wanting to be a girl,” added a commenter. “This is usually what happens to parents who are so one sided.”
“Please don’t use Beyoncé in the background to perpetuate whatever [nonsense] you are trying,” tagged on a clear member of the Beyhive. “She love all…. Unlike yourself.”
The country star’s wife further fueled the haters when posted a response in her Instagram Stories. “Advocating for the genital mutilation of children under the disguise of love and calling it ‘gender affirming care’ is one of the worst evils,” she wrote on Friday.
“Some parents want to be accepted by society so badly that they’re willing to make life-altering decisions for their children who aren’t old enough to fully comprehend the consequences of those actions,” Aldean continued. “Love is protecting your child until they are mature enough as an adult to make their own life decisions.”
On Wednesday, Aldean responded to the controversy in an Instagram post advertising her Barbie inspired clothing line. “Per usual, my words have been taken out of context over the last week,” she posted along with the eye roll emoji.
In a series of promotional photos she posted, Aldean wears a shirt from the line that reads: “Don’t tread on our kids.”
“Instead of getting twisted about the twisting of my words, I’ve chosen to bring some good out of it,” she concluded.

No parent should subject a child to any gender altering procedure. An underage child is too undeveloped mentally to make such a decision. In my opinion any parent, teacher, doctor or any other adult should be charged with child abuse and subject to criminal charges if they are complacent in this insanity.
