Fox News Host Laura Ingraham seemed stunned during a conversation with guest Raymond Arroyo that went horribly off the rails when he tried to explain the Netflix series “You” to her during a segment, but the show’s star Penn Badgley thinks their exchange was really a straight-faced comedy bit.

The “Ingraham Angle” host went viral for frustrating Arroyo with what amounted to a “Who’s on First?” argument, as he tried to explain the premise of Badgley’s show about a serial stalker.

Arroyo touted Kevin Costner’s “Yellowstone” as the “antidote” to woke storylines plaguing television shows, and cited the Netflix hit “You” as an example of a series that injects politics into entertainment.

“I was watching an episode of “You” where measles came up,” he began, but was cut off by Ingraham who questioned, “When did I mention measles?” Arroyo tried to clarify by saying, “I don’t know, it was on “You.” Ingraham scoffed, “What was on me? What are you talking about? I never had the measles.”

A clearly frustrated Arroyo spoke over her in an attempt to explain. “The measles and the vaccine episode was on ‘You,” to which a perplexed Ingraham shot back, “We never did a measles and vaccine episode, is this a joke? I don’t even know what you’re talking about.”

At this point, if Arroyo had any hair on top of his head, he would have probably been pulling it out as she shouted, “I know, it was on “You.” The Fox host once again repeated that she had never contracted measles, and Arroyo tried to spell it out for her. “The show, Laura.”

“What’s it called?” She finally asked. “You,” he screeched, “it’s called “You.” But she never grasped what he was trying to tell her, and said that she completely gave up.

In a final impassioned plea, he explained, “It’s a show called “You” on Netflix,” and dumbfoundingly, she replied, “There’s a show called Laura Ingraham on Netflix?”

The clip went so viral that “You” star Penn Badgley remarked that he believed the argument was a planned exchange. “It’s gotta be a bit,” Badgley tweeted. “Dude is committed, he actually made me lol, but watch how he waits for her to cut him off.” Netflix’s official Twitter account agreed that it was “100% a bit.”

Ingraham confirmed on her Wednesday night show that the segment was in fact a planned set up. She and Arroyo mocked liberals for their response to the viral clip, jabbing at Andy Richter, who said their Monday night exchange made him feel like he “wasted the last 35 years” of his life.
