Reports from The Guardian surfaced claiming that Trump pressured former White House press secretary Sarah Sanders to “take one for the team” after she caught Kim Jong Un giving her a flirtatious wink at a leaders summit in Singapore in 2018. The hilarious scene is described in Sander’s upcoming book “Speaking for Myself” set to release next week.
In her book, Sanders describes the incident that took place after President Trump offered a tic-tac to Kim Jong Un.
Sanders then looked up “to notice Kim staring at me. We made direct eye contact and Kim nodded and appeared to wink at me. I was stunned. I quickly looked down and continued taking notes.”
“…All I could think was, ‘What just happened? Surely Kim Jong-un did not just mark me!?’”
Later, in the presidential limousine, Sanders told Trump and his then-chief of staff, John Kelly, what happened. “Kim Jong Un hit on you!” Trump said. “He did! He f–ing hit on you!”
Trump is then said to have joked:
“Well, Sarah, that settles it. You’re going to North Korea and taking one for the team! Your husband and kids will miss you, but you’ll be a hero to your country!” Trump and Kelly then “howled with laughter,” according to the book.
While some have been quick to cry out the dialogue as being “bizarre” or “misogynistic” in another effort to criticize Trump it’s easy to see the exchange was clearly laden with sarcasm and was not meant to be taken seriously.

“take one for the Team” is a pretty damned common comment and USUALLY MADE IN JEST.
The liberals have to dig pretty deep to think this will help them.
Pelosi, waters, any of the ‘skwad’ and even chuck schumer would have taken the NK leader up on it iif they thought it would help them get rid of the FIRST MAN IN THE PRESIDENTS OFFICE.

Despite how the left tries to paint OUR President, in private he’s known to be quite friendly, outgoing, and has a great sense of humor. Of course the latter can be dangerous in our current politically correct culture.

What I get from this is Sara Sanders has a sense of humor and not some thin skinned witch like most Democrat women so probably laughed along with Trump and the Kelly at the good natured ribbing. I know I would have had I been in her position. Besides, I doubt if a runt like Kim-jong-un could handle a real woman like I’m sure Sara is.
