We’re tracking the conservative culture clash with woke Hollywood hypocrites to keep you up to date on who’s winning and who we hate.

 Here’s what happened today:

Fiery Fieri

TV chef Guy Fieri blames Congress for the collapse of the restaurant industry during the pandemic, after they managed to bail out big business, but failed struggling eateries.

“I mean, I’m pissed. It’s because there’s not enough unification, we all love each other in the restaurant business. We’re all chefs together and so forth,” he commented.  “But airlines have big powerful money and attorneys and lobbyists. And we’ve got home-built restaurant companies that were passed down from a restaurant, that were passed down from generations, with not as much energy and power and unification.”

He said the decentralization of the food industry is to blame for the lack of funding. “I think it has to do with anything we see in government and politics and so forth,” he added. “It’s loud voice, power, and money.”

Fieri raised more than $25 million for ailing industry workers in partnership with the National Restaurant Association while the government failed to react.

“Listen, I’m a huge patriot. I love our country. I’m so proud that we get to have what we have. I don’t think everybody appreciates it to the level that we should appreciate it. But I sure wish we could react quicker,” he went on. “I don’t know. I’m not on that side of it. So I’m not going to point fingers. As opposed to sitting here running my mouth about it, I’m just going to go do something about it.”

Racially Segmented

James Cordon is changing a controversial segment on his CBS show after coming under fire when a viral TikTok video called it “racist” for featuring Asian foods.

The TikTok user created Change.org petition that gathered over 45,000 signatures to eliminate the “incredibly culturally offensive and insensitive” segment that “encourages anti-Asian racism” by portraying Asian delicacies as “gross” foods.

“We heard that story, and the next time we do that bit, we absolutely won’t involve or use any of those foods,” Corden told Howard Stern. “We completely understand, it’s not for us to determine whether somebody’s upset or hurt about something… all we can do is go, ‘All right, we get it, we won’t do that.'”

“Our show is a show about joy and light and love, we don’t want to make a show to upset anybody,” he continued. “In the same way that when we played it with Anna Wintour, we gave her a pizza covered in cheeseburgers.”

Cancel Culture Shocker

“The View” co-host Sara Haines called cancel culture “dangerous” after discussing Winston Marshall’s decision to leave his band Mumford & Sons, so he could speak freely about politics after receiving heavy backlash for congratulating a conservative author on his controversial book.

“I just think this is such a dangerous time when you say one thing — ‘you’re a brave man’ — and now you must endorse his entire book, everything he believes, his family, everything he said,” Haines remarked. “Like, we cannot even pose for pictures, act civilly toward one another.”

“We talk about the divide in this country, the problem with racism, the lack of empathy — we’re not gonna get closer to each other if we continue to wield this and weaponize it,” she went on. “It was really sad to see that this is where it had to go.”

She pointed out that a single post cost Marshall his livelihood. “This guy didn’t write the book; he tweeted about the book!” Haines continued. “And now are we gonna decide that anyone that poses for a picture with Winston Marshall from Mumford & Sons should also not be followed or anything else? Like, where does it end? I think it’s very disheartening.”

Lawsuit

“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Denise Richards denied trashing a home she and her husband rented to the tune of $103,000 in damages. The landlords accused Richards and her beau of destroying the home interior and yard with their more than half a dozen cats and dogs, and multiple pot-bellied pigs.

Richards claims there were no damages to the property, which she says was already in a state of disrepair, and that she had been invoiced for work done on the property twice, which was only valued at $32,455.

The actress is countersuing the landlords for an unspecified amount and has accused them of leaking her personal information.

Bulls S**t

Former dream team-era Chicago Bulls star, Scottie Pippen, accused then head coach Phil Jackson of being racist for instructing him to pass the ball to white player Toni Kukoc in the final second of the 1994 Eastern Conference semifinals.

“Why would Toni — who was a rookie — get the last-second shot and you put me out of bounds? That’s what I mean racial,” Pippen remarked.

When the interviewer pointed out what he was accusing Jackson of, Pippen replied, “I don’t got a problem with that.” The interviewer then directly asked if believed Jackson was a racist.

“Oh, ya,” he remarked. “Do you remember Phil Jackson left the Lakers, wrote a book on Kobe Bryant, and then came back and coached him? Who would do that? You name someone in professional sports that would do that,” Pippen continued. “I think he tried to expose Kobe in a way that he shouldn’t have.”

 Taking The Crown

The new Miss Nevada USA, Kataluna Enriquez, became the first transgender individual to be crowned.  “Miss Silver State was a great experience … to me it was honestly a celebration of womanhood and diversity and this celebration of being your true self,” Enriquez commented.

But she complained that the competition tried to require proof of gender transition and put her up in a single hotel room, away from the other contestants. “I was asked to provide documents that were invasive, in my opinion, physically asking me to get a letter from my doctor,” Enriquez said. “It brought me back to the time where I felt like I was not welcome.”

It is unclear if Enriquez will be allowed to participate in the Miss USA pageant, as a federal court ruled in February that the organization could bar anyone who is not a “natural born female” from competing.

I’m not confident in society’s chance to advance when a few tweets that looks like millions determine what’s right or wrong, who should exist and who shouldn’t. This is significant when the media platforms censor the what and who that’s allowed to have an opinion.

As indicated in a couple of these articles there always be someone who disagree with you. We are a nation of over 340 million citizens. To me a few thousand people who would disagree with me is nothing, unless they can prove me wrong with facts get out of my face. I am entitled to my views regardless how you feel. Since I disagree with you should I cancel you?
I agree with Guy, local and state governments caused a lot of damage to the food service industry, and the state and federal governments are still doing damage. These fools in government have handed out so many freebies, still are, and need taxes yet they are killing the tax base in all businesses and industries.
