Twitter CEO Elon Musk expressed his readiness to engage in a cage-match style fight with Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta and an enthusiast of jiu-jitsu. Musk issued this challenge after learning about Zuckerberg’s intentions to develop a text-based social media platform as a competitor to Twitter.

In a tweet, Musk warned that if Meta gains control of yet another social media platform, Zuckerberg would possess absolute power over Earth with no alternative options. A user on Twitter mentioned Zuckerberg’s jiu-jitsu skills, to which Musk responded, “If he’s game, I’m open to a match inside a cage lol.”

Musk has a martial arts background in various disciplines, including Kyokushin karate, taekwondo, judo, and some Brazilian jiu-jitsu training. He injured his back grappling with a sumo wrestler. Meanwhile, Zuckerberg showcased his skills in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and gained recognition in a recent tournament. Zuckerberg credits his success to embracing defeat and starting anew, highlighting the importance of learning from embarrassment and persevering in new ventures.

Elon Musk has a history of challenging prominent individuals, including a playful invitation to a duel with Russian President Vladimir Putin. His latest taunt is directed at Mark Zuckerberg, in response to Meta’s plans to create a text-based application as a competitor to Twitter. Meta promises a well-managed platform, contrasting with Musk’s own offerings.
