Comedian Amy Schumer used her stand-up gig in New York City Tuesday night to mock the reported hundreds of fans who walked out on her October 17 Tampa show after the comedian skewered Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.
At her concert Tuesday at New York’s Madison Square Garden, the 35-year-oldTrainwreck star read aloud an open letter to those fans that booed and later walked out of her show at Tampa’s Amalie Arena earlier this week. As Breitbart News reported, about 200 audiences members booed and then bailed on the show after the comedy star tore into Trump, at one point calling him an “orange, sexual-assaulting, fake-college-starting monster.”
Schumer doubled down on the criticism during her New York City concert.
“Dearest Tampa,” Schumer began. “I’m sorry you didn’t want me, a comedian who talks about what she believes in, to mention the biggest thing going on in our country right now.”
