Former Fox News star Bill O’Reilly advised President Trump on Thursday to stop using Twitter, and said his constant tweeting is hurting his presidency.
“Attacking specific media people, retweeting dubious material — now hurting the President because it diverts attention from his economic success & gives his enemies ammo,” O’Reilly said.
It would behoove (Word of the Day) President Trump to stop tweeting about non-governmental issues for a while. Attacking specific media people, retweeting dubious material – now hurting the President because it diverts attention from his economic success & gives his enemies ammo.

Over the Thanksgiving holiday and into the following week, Trump has shot off one tweet after another taking on CNN, MSNBC morning host Joe Scarborough, and the New York Times. He weighed in on NBC’s firing of Matt Lauer over sexual misconduct allegations and has been criticized for sharing a dubious video that purported to show Muslims committing crimes.
In February, Fox News anchor Sean Hannity, one of Trump’s biggest boosters on TV, agreed that “maybe he shouldn’t tweet out every thought he has.”
