BREAKING: House GOP Launches Impeachment Of Joe Biden

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy is set to inform GOP colleagues of his intent to initiate an impeachment inquiry against President Biden this week according to reports. McCarthy will hold a private meeting on Thursday where updates on Hunter Biden’s foreign business will be provided by House Judiciary Chairman, Rep. Jim Jordan, and House Oversight Committee Chairman, Rep. James Comer. This decision is based on investigations into Hunter Biden’s international business activities.

McCarthy gave a statement at the Capitol Tuesday, saying:

“Through our investigations, we have found that President Biden did lie to the American people about his own knowledge of his family’s foreign business dealings. Eyewitnesses have testified that the president joined on multiple phone calls and had multiple interactions, dinners resulted in cars and millions of dollars into his sons and his son’s business partners.”

McCarthy believes that the evidence uncovered by Jordan and Comer warrants a formalized impeachment inquiry. This process will allow for the acquisition of the Bidens’ bank records and other relevant documentation. Previously, he mentioned to Breitbart News that any impeachment inquiry would be subjected to a formal House vote:

“To open an impeachment inquiry is a serious matter, and House Republicans will not take it lightly or use it for political purposes. The American people deserve to be heard on this matter through their elected representatives.”

“That’s why, if we move forward with an impeachment inquiry, it would occur through a vote on the floor of the People’s House and not through a declaration by one person.”

It is reported that during the meetings, McCarthy will say that an impeachment inquiry against Biden is the “logical next step” for the Republican majority. This inquiry is the initial phase in the impeachment process, which involves collecting evidence to determine the official charges against an individual. This particular Thursday conference is separate from the regular Wednesday GOP meeting, where the party’s weekly objectives are usually discussed.
