Michael Moore said the lack of enthusiasm Hillary Clinton supporters have shown in recent weeks is “dangerous.”
During an interview with the Daily Beast, the filmmaker explained why he made “Michael Moore in TrumpLand” — a film of his one-man stage performance that champions the Democratic nominee.
“I noticed the people that support Hillary were feeling really confident, and I thought that was dangerous,” Moore said. “The more Trump screwed up and the more she won the debates, people just thought more and more that it was in the bag. I didn’t feel that way at all.”
“Ten percent of the Hillary vote got depressed with the FBI announcement,” he continued. “They’re still going to vote for her, but they’re not as enthusiastic, and maybe won’t do the work for her this weekend that they were going to.”
