Michael Moore Reveals Further Plans to ‘Disrupt’ Inauguration

Michael Moore, who presciently detailed Trump’s path to presidential victory through the Rust Belt when few thought he had a chance, is planning on attending the January inauguration and helping others get there to protest — but isn’t ruling out the possibility that the mogul won’t be sworn in at all.

“If by some awful happenstance Trump shows up to be sworn in on January 20th, I will be there helping lead the national protest and non-violently disrupting the inauguration of a man no one other than the electoral college elected — and I’ll also be doing my own thing as a private citizen (activities I won’t disclose now),” the documentary filmmaker wrote in an email to The Hollywood Reporter.

Moore, who has recently been on the cable news circuit offering his explanation for Trump’s success, invited speculation about his inauguration activities when he tweeted a link to a “Disrupt the Inauguration” protest that is being planned in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 20.

The filmmaker is just over a month removed from the release of his latest film, Michael Moore in Trumpland, which films a live performance of Moore in Ohio, speaking to both Clinton and Trump supporters about areas that voters have in common (and the dangers of Trump).
