Rocker Slams Ted Cruz

Senator Ted Cruz wanted to be put on the guest list for a Nine Inch Nails show in Texas. Apparently, this did not go over well with the lead singer of the band, who had choice words for the Senator.

According to The Hill:

Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor claimed at a Tuesday concert in Texas that he told Republican Sen. Ted Cruz to “f— off” after he asked to be put on the guest list for the show.

In video captured from the group’s concert in Dallas, Reznor can first be seen asking the crowd: “Who voted for Ted Cruz? See, the lights aren’t on, I can’t see. Is there any way to turn the lights on? I’d like to see.”

“Raise your hand, you guys, nothing to be ashamed of, just checking,” he continued.

Reznor then went on to claim that Cruz, who this month won his reelection bid against Texas Rep. Beto O’Rourke (D), had tried to attend the concert but was denied VIP status.

The rocker said that Cruz was placed on the guest list before, but was not a good guess. The Senator drank all the beer.
