We’re tracking the conservative culture clash with woke Hollywood hypocrites to keep you up to date on who’s winning and who we hate.

Here’s what happened today:

Cancel Controversy

Dave Chappelle said he would meet with Netflix employees who walked from their jobs in protest of his controversial special, but has some stipulations. “You will not summon me, I am not bending to anybody’s demands,” the Comedian said in a Monday Instagram post.

“First of all, you cannot come if you have not watched my special from beginning to end,” he said. “You must come to a place of my choosing, at a time of my choosing.”

In the response, which was part of a stand up set, he questioned what he would discuss with the employees.

“It’s been said in the press that I was invited to speak with transgender employees at Netflix and I refused. That is not true. If they had invited me I would’ve accepted, although I am confused about what we’re speaking about.” he teed up.

“I said what I said and boy, I heard what you said. My god, how could I not? You said you wanted a safe working environment at Netflix,” the comedian continued. “Well, it seems like I’m the only one who can’t go to the office anymore.”

“You cannot have this conversation and exclude my voice from it. That is only fair. You have to answer the question — am I canceled or not? Now let’s go,” Chappelle added.

He also said that he doesn’t blame the LGBTQ+ community for the controversy. “For the record, and I need you to know this, everyone I know from that community has been loving and supporting, so I don’t know what all this nonsense is about.”

Game 6

Legendary country singer Travis Tritt blasted “wing nut cancel culture” for the media’s negative response to the announcement that he would be singing the National Anthem at Game 6 of the MLB’s National League Championship Series.

“By allowing Tritt to sing for their organization, the Braves are sending the wrong message for MLB — a league whose success is predicated on a successful COVID-19 policy and heavy reliance on the COVID-19 vaccine,” Fansided wrote about the news.

While the Washington Post concurred that “The Braves chose Tritt because he is a big fan of the team. Most teams bring out their most high-profile fans this time of year. But the choice is somewhat puzzling because it seems to court unnecessary controversy, given Tritt’s stance against vaccination mandates.”

Tritt made headlines last week for canceling his upcoming shows at venues that require the use of face coverings and/or proof of vaccination for entry. After his choice to “stand up for freedom,” mainstream media isn’t thrilled about the Braves’ choice to let him sing at the game.

“So the wing nut cancel culture tried to pressure the Atlanta Braves into forcing me not to sing the National Anthem at Game 6 of the NLCS. I’m so thankful that the @braves did not cave to this pressure and refused to be bullied,” the country star tweeted on Saturday. “Thanks for allowing me to pay tribute to America.”

Trending

Trump-hating comedian Kathy Griffin, who once posed with a paper mache replica of the former president’s severed head, has gone viral for posting a disturbing video to social media.

Griffin posted a video of herself shimmying topless on a balcony with the caption, “HEY BOYZZZZ.” The tweet quickly trended on when social media commentators mocked the video relentlessly, noting the similarities between Griffin and fellow comedian Carrot Top.

“Stop comparing this to Carrot Top, everyone. Scott hasn’t been this flabby in decades,” comedian Josh Denny joked.

“I didn’t realize cancer was contagious but she just gave it to me with this tweet,” said podcaster Michael Malice. “How to make a straight man turn gay in 3…2…1,” wrote another.

Griffin blamed conservatives for making her name trend. “Going viral? Look, compared to another video that went viral 4 years ago, this is nuthin but fun!” Griffin posted the next day. “The magas always think it’s this big insult to call me Carrot Top. I love Carrot Top (Scott Thompson) and his audiences adore him and have for decades.”

Rejected

Boxing GOAT Floyd Mayweather shut down a fan’s attempt to get a selfie at the Los Angeles Clippers game over the weekend because the teenage boy’s nails were painted black.

“You got painted nails, I don’t take pictures with guys with no painted nails,” Mayweather was caught on camera saying.

“Floyd doesn’t want to take a picture with me because my nails are painted,” the teenager shot back. “Bruh, really?!” Mayweather continued to smile and pose with other fans after the incident.

Restrained

Retired UFC great Chuck Liddell and his estranged wife Heidi were both slapped with his and hers restraining orders that require them to stay 100 yards away from each other and not engage in any form of contact.

Liddel was arrested for domestic violence in early October, after the couple got into an argument that turned violent. Heidi was cited for attacking Chuck, who claimed he was the victim, but ultimately asked officers to let her remain with their children instead of being taken into custody.

He filed for divorce shortly after, and was granted temporary physical custody of their two children and the family’s dogs. Heidi was ordered to vacate the house they share until a court hearing scheduled for the second week of November.
