West Hollywood Makes Huge Announcement About Trump’s Hollywood Walk of Fame Star

West Hollywood just decided how to deal with President Trump’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame after it was vandalized several times — and Trump fans are not going to be happy.

Dlisted reports:

In what might turn out to be a wholly symbolic act, the city of West Hollywood issued a resounding “F*** You, Mr. President” and passed a resolution to remove Donald Trump’s star from the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In a unanimous decision, the West Hollywood City Council voted to ask the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce to allow the star to remain a pulverized pile of dust, instead of being spit-shined and reinstalled on the Walk of Fame.

According to CBS News:

The resolution calls on the Los Angeles City Council and Hollywood Chamber of Commerce to remove Mr. Trump’s star “due to his disturbing treatment of women and other actions that do not meet the shared values of the City of West Hollywood, the region, state, and country.”

Austin Clay, the dude who decided to mine for gold directly underneath the President’s star, spoke at the meeting and urged its removal on the basis that it’s become a hot-point for vandalism, violence, and fake pee. In fact, according to TMZ, literal brawls have broken out on Hollywood Blvd. over an empty hole in the street that once held a concrete slab honoring the man who produced the Miss America Pageant in 2007, and is now the President of The United States. Sacha Baron Cohen doesn’t need a goofy TV show to find out Who is America. This is America.

The Hollywood Historic Trust had previously stated that they were going to replace the star post haste, but that it needed “several days of seasoning before it is polished.” which, I’m sorry, really sounds like they’re being cute and making a turd analogy.
