Turns out, there isn’t just one actor who wants to impersonate Donald Trump on “Saturday Night Live” — Johnny Depp would be open to it, too!
During an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on Thursday, Ellen DeGeneres remembered his appearance on the show one year ago when he did a Trump impression. She remembered how good it was and asked the “Pirates of the Caribbean” actor whether he’d ever want to impersonate Trump on “SNL” — a role Alec Baldwin has filled for quite some time now.
“Sure,” Depp responded. “Alec’s done all the work, I can just copy him.” The actor admitted to never seeing Baldwin’s performance as Trump, which shocked DeGeneres.
“Well, I’ve seen Trump do Trump, which is shocking to me,” he responded.
